Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
When I tried these in the store I thought I had found the perfect gloves. Finally a kind of nylon/neoprene-like stretch fabric, snug fit, and billed as weatherproof/waterproof.
First use, these things leaked like a sieve and then soaked up water like a sponge leading to seriously cold, uncomfortable hands, and no doubt dangerous in extreme conditions.
These gloves were a complete waste of money and manufacturer is arguably criminal in their claim to water resistance at any level.
My wife bought a pair at the same time and has worse things to say about them than I do.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I was primarily interested in these gloves for use on those cold, wet, winter days of steelhead fishing on Oregon's rivers. My experience has been that the gloves are warm, tight fitting and comfortable. However, despite being advertised as being waterproof, when using the gloves in rainy conditions I found that they soaked up water like a sponge. I won't even say that these gloves are water resistant.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I bought these for me and my wife, mainly for our early morning walk / jog. Here in Utah it is going to start being very cold and wet or snowy at 6 A.M. every morning. We first bought the Seirus All Weather version & returned them for this xtreme version due to them getting wet inside at the least bit of rain or snow leaking thru. So I came home and stuck them on my hands and stuck them under the sink tap, being very careful to only get the fingers and palm area wet. To simulate rain or snow running down our sleeves on to the gloves. After just a few seconds my right pointer finger and thumb were getting wet. I let them set out overnight in our bedroom and put them on again this morning to discover they still have not dried out after sitting out all night in our warm house. I am going to return them for another pair as they feel so warm and comfortable that I want them to work. Only the right one leaked. So I am hoping that maybe I got one defective one and that If I get the right pair they will not leak. If they would not leak they seem like the best gloves I have ever tried on. They would work great for hunting and fishing also as they fit so snug they leave you good feeling in them. I stuck my hand out the truck window and they seem very windproof as well. Hoping pair number 3 will not leak. I will reccomend if the next pair does not leak.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
The style is great and matches things like Columbia's Titanium windproof/waterproof ski liners or the NF equivalent quite well. However, these are not waterproof by any stretch.
The material is a windproof and waterproof breathable membrane, but the seams aren't sealed allowing water to enter along any of the fingers leaving you cold and soaked.
For casual, light use they might be fine. However, I'm not looking at SealSkinz as a replacement for these for light, but waterproof use.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I read the reviews and they all said not waterproof so I went ahead and dunked my hands in a sinkful of water - and then I thought "Man, I probably should have put the gloves on first." So, after drying my hands and putting the gloves on I went ahead and dunked 'em again. Five minutes later and my hands were still dry. I can't give a full review though because it hasn't gotten cold enough to really test them.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I was confident Seirus would resolve the design flaws of the original All Weather Gloves with the introduction of the Xtreme version. I was disappointed. I used the gloves at Squaw Valley, and I still got frostbitten even with hand warmers. Without them, it could've been worse. Plus, the Xtreme doesn't have the snug fit of the original, and it's bulkier. Back to the drawing board.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I am fortunate in that my hand have the shape and size that fits most men's gloves snuggly.
This glove however has the shape of a mutant. Its narrow and long. I can snuggly with the gloves on, but then the fingers are way tooooo long. Over one centimeter longer then my fingers.
So I try the on one size smaller, now I cannt get the glove on at all.
I imagine the obtained to size and shape of these gloves from freakish mutant human.
So far my search for a minimally insulated, form fitting, softshell, waterproof gloves have yielded only negative results. Poor design and poor manufacturing. I am so desparate I might take these gloves to my tailor to have them form fitted and seam sealed.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I can't say that I tested them completely because I got them recently so there was not much chance to try them in cold conditions but I was interested if they are waterproof as claimed by the manufacturer. I guess I was a lucky one compared to the other buyers whose gloves absorbed water when tested. I immersed mine in sink full of water for six minutes and not a drop went inside. I guess one must go on and check few pairs to buy the right one and I got lucky with the first pair. I must wait until winter to test their thermal ability.

Comments about Seirus Xtreme All Weather Gloves:
I put these gloves on on my way out of the store and they kept my hands completely warm in low 30 degree temps with plenty of wind. I usually read reviews before I buy something like this, but this time it escaped me for some reason. Anyhow, I happened to read several reviews the night I bought them and I was shocked. I filled a sink with cold water and submerged my hand to the wrist. Bubbles instantly shot out of the seams/stitches in multiple areas and I could feel water on my skin. The glove was pretty much soaked throughout the inside making them useless in my opinion. They are getting returned ASAP. I do like the way they look, feel and fit. They are just too expensive to not perform as advertised.
