Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
I just purchased this pack and used it on a 3 day hike in the Smokeys. It held up very well but i did have some signs of chaffing on the outside and the sizing is a little off for my build. BUT overall its very comfortable, packs alot, easy to use and lots of pockets. Gregory did a good job on this pack!

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
This is my go to pack for 2-4 day trips. It has enough room to carry what you need comfortably. It has good cinch straps to compress the load. It has a fantastic suspension system that does a great job of putting the weight where it needs to be. I just wish the top of the pack became a fanny pack.

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
This pack was great from day one. Bought it specifically for 3 weeks in Central America with some Yosemite trips in mind for the future. Been pleased with all aspects ever since. Comfortable fit with great adjustable features. Easy to load and at least as good as any out there to rummage in once fully packed with the side zipper entry (very helpful). Pretty lightweight with some durable features where they are needed (zippers, external pockets, etc) and also looks sharp.
Thumbs up.

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
Great pack with awesome padding. Some of the best in the market, but you pay a weight penalty for it, about 1lb. However, on extended hikes, it's so nice to have cush belt/straps. Plus the positioning of the water bottle holder is excellent, so accessable!
It also has a great suspension system, so no matter how I move my body, the pack moves w/me and the weight doesn't fall to one side. You won't notice the diffrence on a normal hike, but across a rock scramble, or trecherous decents, you'll feel the pack move w/you.
complaints - lack of cargo loops. Also, i wish the pockets were better designed, instead of just being one big compartment.

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
Terrific pack, overall. I picked this one up recently to replace my old beater, and man, what an upgrade. The suspension is phenomenal, it's extremely comfortable and feels very lightweight.
I took it up for a 2-day trek to Mt Whitney this past weekend, packed comfortably with 50# of gear (I'm a big dude with a big appetite). It's perfect for 2-3 day trips or longer if you go ultra-light. My only complaint is that the bladder is a little difficult to access when packed.

I have last years model. I love it. It has a hard plastic bottom which makes is really durable. This years model doesen't have that feature though. The pack is a little on the heavy side but it is very sturdy and comfortable. I usually use it for 3-4 day trips and I've been very happy with it.

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
This is an awesome pack. I have a Gregory Whitney, Palisades and a Z-Pack. I purchase the Palisades for extended day comfort and the Z-Pack for overnighters. The Triconi has the comfort of the Palisades and the lightweight stance of the Z-Pack or the best of both worlds. I did have the front pocket zipper bust (reason for 4 of 5 stars), but truthfully I over stuffed it for a 5-day Foothills Trail hike. Alas, since I'm a REI Member and it's a Gregory product it was repaired for free! I highly recommend this backpack for its durability, comfort and lightweight. The Triconi is a Baltaro on a diet and with the AFS Suspension system you can bend/kneel and forget you have a pack on!!! Bravo Gregory & REI!!! Trek on

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
I used this on the AT trail for a 4 day hike and loved it! I had it maxed out at 52 lbs. and it does really well if you pack it correctly. My only gripe is that they should of had two straps come across the top of the pack instead of only one. At the end of the trip my hips, shoulders, and back were not sore at all! Great ergonomic design and a true work horse!

Comments about Gregory Triconi 60 Pack:
I recently purchased this pack on the recommendation of a good buddy that has a Gregory Forrester pack. I got the pack fitted in the store and tried it with about 25lbs of dead weight in it. Was in the store for over 1.5 hrs with the pack on walking all over the store. The Response AFS weight distribution is phenominal on your hips! It's quick and easy to readjust on the fly. Gregory has really got the fit and comfort down on this pack. I ended up using this at a National Training Camp for Scouting Leaders for a 4 day event. The pack was EXCELLENT and helped to make the event a great success for myself! The pack was fully loaded for the event with clothing, gear, food and other required items. Probably tipped the scale about 50 lbs. When I placed it on my back, adjusted it and got hiking, it settled in the right places for complete comfort! What a great way to get back into backpacking! I highly recommend it for anyone that needs a well crafted piece of equipment. The thought put into the design and useable space in this pack is seen through-out. Details were not sacrificed to save on cost or weight. Each part has a very useable reason for it's existance. All the way down to the water resistant zippers and hidden water bottle carrier! I do wish it had the plastic under cover when you open it from the top. That would allow for easy recognition of the items in the top cover without having to open it up. [...] Thanks to a good buddy for recommending one of his favorite camping gear manufacturer's!
