great boot - but lots of movement

These are very high-quality, nice looking boots. They give good control on small hills and turns and are warm. That said, I'm not convinced that they are really cut to a woman's last or mold to fit your feet.

I was surprised by the amount of heel movement in these boots. While the length and width fit OK, the heels are problematic and have not responded to heel inserts, double socks, and moleskin. I wish Rossi would start making 1/2 sizes for women, also. Women traditionally have narrow heels, so I imagine this is a known problem.

Also, if you overpronate at all, even using orthotics won't dampen this heel movement which results in some impressive blisters. I'll post an update if I ever manage to solve this problem or break them in, but for now it's back to the drawing board and the CVS for moleskin.
