Just tried a pair of these today for the slopes and they were excellent! My toes were comfortable all day and usually my popsicle toes are too cold on the slopes. Great socks, I'm ordering more!

I just learned how to ski last year, and so I thought I'd pick up some ski socks that would go up to my knee. The first time I skiied, I used some mid-calf socks, and they hurt after awhile due to the rubbing and pressing of the boot into my leg.

I was pleased to find that these socks were snug, cushioned on the shin area, and warm. I personally like thick socks because I'm a cold blooded reptile, but these kept my toes pretty warm. 4 stars because I haven't tested the life out of these things yet.
