Hard to clean but handy nonetheless

Got sets of these utensils for our camping trip in Palo Duro Canyon. For the price they're not too bad. They collapse in fit into my camp tove set and are very light. Extended out they are stable and dont feel awkward to eat with. Cleaning is a pain in the butt if you have unlimited water and almost impossible if water is limited.

The packaging says "nylon resists melting". Well, nylon actually does not resist melting, it welcomes it. I melted the thing the first time I used it AT HOME, on a real stove with a real pan. Not a superhot canister stove. If it can't stand up to a simple pancake it has no business in the field. The fork melted as soon as I put it into boiling water to stir some pasta. The spoon deformed as soon as I put it into a cup of baked beans. These would never work with an actual jetboil, and it's a good thing my jetboil fell apart on me anyway.

Not great

These do the job - for a while. The fork and spoon are somewhat useful b/c they are light and compact (though they are difficult to clean). I bought this product, however, for the spatula, and it is a disappointment. I have scrambled eggs twice, and it has melted significantly. It will probably only last a few more times.

Lightweight, but otherwise poor quality

As many others in the reviews have noted, these things are extremely lightweight, which is a huge plus. However, the edges of the utensils will melt almost instantly upon contact with hot surfaces or freshly cooked food. Although that is annoying, I'd still keep them in my pack since they're so light, but I had tons of trouble actually using them as utensils. The spatula is flimsy, the fork's tips are too rounded to easily sink into food, and the spoon is fine. I would not recommend and am buying a different set of camping utensils.

not for cooking

I bought these because of the weight, they are very lightweight for those who interested in lighting the pack load. They work as effective eating tools. However, i would not use any of these utensils to COOK FOOD or EAT HOT foods they are very heat sensitive. the plastic melted while cooking breakfast scramble eggs.

Nifty Design, Work Great

These utensils came with my Jetboil Cooking System which also came with the 8 inch frying pan. They work great, the handles slide to be more compact and they fit well on the side of the cup. I haven't had any issue cleaning them as I don't make a huge mess. I clean my stuff at home again, anyways so, no problem. To fit them on the side of the Jetboil cup cozy, you just need to alternate the direction of them. Alternating ends up/down/up with the spatula down in the middle position. Just try different positions until you figure it out which way you like them.

Would recommend

Great set of utensils collapsible and all the fork and spoon are normal sized. And the only problem I have with the set the spatula is small. Bus enough to flip an egg but for an omelette if you want to fry it this thing won’t do. They are made of a good material and will not scratch a non stick pan.

Melted Spatula

NOT FOR COOKING! What is the point of making a spatula that melts the instant it hits a pan! While the overall design of the set is cool, I don’t appreciate the nylon permanently burnt into my pan.

Small, Lightweight, Gets the job done

I bought these about a month ago and I've gotten a good amount of use out of them already. They're small enough that when collapsed I can fit them in my backpacking stove bag making them easy to bring along. Only downfall I've found is the "jetboil" imprint on the back of the utensils gets food stuck in the letters making them a little more difficult to clean then would otherwise be the case but nevertheless a great product!

Wish they were a little shorter

These are great I just wish they were a little shorter so they would fit inside the Jetboil mug but unfortunately once everything else is inside of it they wont. But they work great and are super light and strong.
