Comments about Salomon Loud Jacket - Men's - '06 Closeout:

bought this for snowboarding in southern Cal. its more of a shell than a jacket, having little insulation this shell does not keep you warm by itself. it does however stop wind and resist water well, so as long as you not in sub 20s conditions, this jacket will do fine.

it's got a lot of big pockets on the outside (4), but their placements are not great for me (I'm 5'10, wearing a medium size). the two upper chest pockets opening/flaps are too high, difficult to reach and open when you are fully suited up. the two bottom pocket/hand warmers are set too low, again, difficult to use when u need them.

on the inside this jacket has just two pockets, big one one the left for goggle, and small one on the right for mp3/cell phone. i wish it's got more pockets on the inside, because 2 really isn't enough. the powder skirt is useful, and the armpit zipper vents works well, even tho the placement is again, a little weird.

over all, a good jacket for warmer days; it's not perfect, but it gets the job done.
