I bought these after looking through a few Keen boot styles. I needed them not too clunky like some Keens can be, waterproof, and fashionable enough.

They have exceeded my expectations - they breathe well, keep my feet warm in the recent snow storm, and best of all, even in a downpour they have kept my feet dry. My feet never sweat in them, and best of all, I can walk all over in them and never get sore feet.

I got the brown pair, and I love the "mottling" effect on the leather. Not just plain ol' brown, they seem to have some depth to them, and the more I wear them, the better they look.

I've just about tossed out all my previous shoes that aren't either Keen or Merrell, what's the point in spending good money when you end up with sore/soggy feet?

The only concern I have with these is the zipper. Not sure if they would be durable, I know Keen's had some issues with zippers on some of their other boots. So far so good. Another concern is the waterproofness. Since they have some fancy breathability system going on, I'm not sure how to keep them conditioned, and not sure how long they'll stay waterproof.

But, everything else outweighs any concerns. They weren't bargain by any means, but they are worth every single penny - I've lived in them since October!

If you occasionally tire of tying laces, a nice casual slip-on boot does the trick. I've become very fond of Keen lately, having discovered that they are designed to provide maximum comfort and are shaped the way I need them (kinda narrow heel, kinda wide forefoot for toe room). REI wool sox, and away you go!

Warm but won't make you sweaty. Stylish. Not meant for deep snow. I love these boots so much, however if you have big calves like me they wont zip up all the way (they don't stretch too much over the calves) but I still love them!

I love these boots! Wore them all last winter and they are holding up really well so far.

They keep my feet warm and dry and are perfect for running errands. When the need arose, they worked out quite well for a mild hike or two. Perfect after a long day of skiing and / or winter hike or snowshoe!

Narrow enough heal and typical of most Keen footwear, a nice wide comfy toe box!! Go out a get yourself a pair ~ you will not regret it !!

Oh, also, the brown leather has aged beautifully mottled and with lots of character!
