    These pants are excellent. I use them strickly for backcountry skiing as my hiking pants. Full taped zippers are great for venting, and you could ski through a waterfall, and your legs would still be dry. Removable gaiters are nice, and the built in belt helps cinch up tight. Great pants, great buy!

      These pants are great for skiing and backpacking. They are completely waterproof and breathable. The gaiters keep snow and dirt out of your boots, but they can be zipped out if you don't need them. There is one front pocket on the right side, which comes in handy.
      For me, the pants seem a little tight in the thigh and waist. I am 5'8" - the medium was too long, and the small is the perfect length.
