I'm a petite woman, and though the SMALL fit, I felt the MEDIUM had a bit more room to move around in. Kept me warm on a chilly night and cool on a sunny day at the beach, great versatility. If it were short-sleeved, I'd probably wear it to workout in as well! Great base layer top!

This top is rather bulky and hardly streches at all. For a patagonia shirt I wasn't too impressed. I usually expect some strech to a shirt that is considered long underwear. I ordered a large after recently having a baby and it is really bigger than I expected but I am reluctant to order a size down since it doesn't strech and was a little difficult to put on. It does, however look nice and it is warm.

This is a great baselayer for any number of activities. I've been using mine while cycling, but it will also get used for snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, etc. It keeps you warm when you need it, and it wicks away moisture very well.
