This jacket is Awesome! MN climates can be brutal (-2 today) and this jacket performs very well. I am able to wear a fleece under the jacket and that keeps me very comfortable. High aerobic activity and you could probably wear this jacket all day, if not I would need to have an outershell for extended periods. The weather changes on a dime here and it will be nice to have a jacket that can change with it. One thing though, I believe the manufacturers size chart runs a little small. 5'9 170 and I needed a large. Medium with a fleece underneath was too restrictive. XL was sloppy. All in all a fantastic jacket.

I bought this jacket as a mid-layer underneath my rain jacket for upcoming winter hikes and such. It feels almost other-worldly in how warm and comfortable it is. It soft and breathes well and even looks good. Only draw back(which is not a big deal at all) is that the bottom that usually rests where your hips would be is a little tight. But everything else including the fit is perfect,Best all around jacket Ive ever bought. Can be used for anything and everything.

I'm 5' 11" 190 lbs. Bought a large based on the sizing chart but should have gotten an XL. The large does not leave any room to wear anything underneath. Also, I find it kinda short in the waist. If a snug fit is what you want, and you plan to only wear t-shirts or long sleeve t-shirts, then go ahead with the large.

This jacket is great. Very warm, resists rain, and you can wear it in wide range of temps. I agree with another review, the size seems to run a bit small. I am 5'9" 170 and size L is recommended. You will like this purchase.

Bought this to wear under my shell for when I go snowboarding but now I use it for pretty much everything. The stitching is noticeably sturdy and it fits just right if you're on the skinny side.
However this fleece doesn't breathe as well as I had hoped but it more then makes up for that with the warmth it provides.

The one negative thing I have to say about this jacket doesn't even pertain to the jackets quality...be careful or have a lint roller handy if you'd like to stay looking sharp in this jacket for any reason. It attracts lint and hair and fuzz like crazy! That is to say to the black jacket, I'm not sure about the other color options.

I have had this jacket for over 2 years & I wear it more than my down jacket. It is simple & effective. I have used it for hiking, backpacking, biking (too warm for high cardo activities), and running errands. I am 5'9' & 160 and a small gives me an snug fit which I can still wear a light fleece (100 weight) under it if I want. It looks nice enough that I always wear it around town.
The only down side is that it does not not trap heat like a down will, but I have pared it with a shell and I'm good. I tried wearing this under my down once & I got too hot just sitting around after a MTB Ride.
I love this jacket & I will wear it until it falls apart, which may be quite a while.

I Got this fleece on sale at HTO, I usually don't prefer to shop there, but this was a GREAT deal. This is the warmest fleece I currently own. It works well as a jacket alone, but also layers well with base and outer layers.
To test how windproof it is, I stuck my arm out of the window on the highway (70-75 mph @ 45 degrees) and barely felt a bit of air.
The only "downside" I've seen to it is if you leave it fully unzipped and a nice breeze catches the inside it turns into a sail... but I guess that's further testimony to it's wind stopping power.
Very good fleece, highly recommended.
