The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about ENO DoubleNest Hammock:
Great hammock! I purchased as my first backpack hammock. Though I've only used it in the backyard, I am extremely satisfied. I am a big guy (6'1" 300 lbs) and I felt very safe and comfortable. I went with the double to give me more room, but I think the single would have been plenty.

Comments about ENO DoubleNest Hammock:
The ENO Doublenest can offer you the best sleep you've never had while outdoors. I used to use a NeoAir sleeping pad inside of my tent, but the pad and tent are now collecting dust in my "camping closet" at home. It packs down small, is lightweight so to save room in your pack (even with the optional rainfly) after removing your tent and pad. When the temperature is forecasted to dip much below 50, I splurge a little by bringing a thin 3/4 inflatable Thermarest and have remained comfy with a 30 degree bag down to about 25F. Unless you're planning to camp in the Everglades during summer, I would forget the optional bugnet. As others have advised, toss your headlamp and water reservoir into the attached stuff-sack and flip it in towards your body; the hammock will cocoon around you entirely (even with a 20" wide thermarest).

Overall Great 2 person hammock!
Not exactly backpacking awesomeness but small enough for a short trip.

I bought this on a whim as I wanted a hammock. It seemed more flexible than a traditional rope hammock. Unlike other folks here (certainly no offense intended) I purchased off the bat the extra straps and also extra caribiners. That said, on a recent beach trip, strung it between two trees, in the shade, iPhone listening to baseball and off into La, La land, hence the Jimmy Buffett quote in the subject line. Easy to set up and take down.
I need to try it on upcoming camping trips over the summer and will comment accordingly. All in all, a good buy. Took me back to my days on my grandparents farm when we used to lay out in the hammock in the back yard.

I have nice place to setup this hammock right up the hill behind my townhouse. I have used 5 or 6 times now and find it perfect for a quick getaway to relax and read. I look forward taking it camping this year. Gotta look for a way to use it when I don't have any trees around when I'm going up to the mountains for astronomy trips.

Comments about ENO DoubleNest Hammock:
A wonderful bed alternative. I use mine on a daily basis; as long as one knows how to properly angle oneself in the hammock, it supports the body wonderfully. I'm not customarily one to sleep on my back when I utilize a flat sleeping surface, but it has become my norm in a hammock. The positioning of the body naturally elevates the head and feet slightly, and the slight rocking is very conducive to relaxation.
This setup is ideal for an individual, but it can support two people - although mind that, due to the physics inherent to a hammock, you have to be comfortable with spooning anyone else in the nest, as you'll roll together. Not a bad aspect, but just make sure you're plenty comfortable with the other person before you invite them into your bed. :)
It must be noted that the hammock does not come with any sort of attachments to strap it to a post or tree, so make sure that you purchase either a stand to suspend it from or straps to connect it to a free-standing landmark separately.
Overall, though, it provides a much more cost-effective alternative to a sleeping system than a traditional bed setup, and it's ever so wonderful.

I love this hammock. Absolutely love this hammock. It is so easy to set up and you can set it up pretty much anywhere. I have a herniated disc problem and when I sit in this hammock I feel zero pain and am nothing but comfortable.
The con: My wife and I purchased two of these hammocks from REI and took them on a 2 week backpacking trip. We were so careful with them that we didn't even let them touch the ground! Upon our first use we discovered a hole in my wife's hammock (same one) and the beginning of a hole in mine. We were disappointed, but we know we can exchange them out. We are hoping it was just a fluke!
Get this. Very enjoyable!

we love our hammock. our 9 year old sets it up herself with the atlas straps. unfortunately the carabiner bent within 3 days. we had less than 300 pounds in the hammock (3 kids) and it bent. we will replace with some we have here, but it's a bummer that the quality isn't quite there.
