Comments about Under Armour Armourstretch Gloves - Men's:
I have had similar gloves that I use for a number of reasons (but have lost and/or destroyed), I keep them in a survival kit that I keep in my vehicle and use them on cold winter mornings till my vehicle warms up, I also use them to keep the chill off my hands when working on ridge tops, and when hiking/backpacking. So I need gloves that fit well, are light, and provide good grip. These are excellent for that. In addition I went 4-wheeling on some dunes on the OR coast this fall and these were the only gloves I had with me, so I figured I would ruin them and just get another pair. However after 2hrs of hard riding (the gloves survived better than my back) I noticed that they still looked brand new! Not a bit of grip missing or even cracked! I originally thought they were a bit over priced…now I think they were a deal! I would buy these again in a second, but expect it may be quite a while before I have to.

I use these gloves for skydiving in cold weather. They fit great, and more importantly for me the grip is superb.

Comments about Under Armour Armourstretch Gloves - Men's:
I'm a backcountry hiker who loves to get out on and off the trail. Also a commuting cyclist.
I bought these gloves because I was planning a 4 day hike in the Smoky Mountains in October. I love hiking the higher elevations for the crisp air and views.
During the hike I found some great pros, and some disappointing cons in these gloves. Later on these pros and cons were validated on later hikes and cycle rides over the next 3 months.
Pros: These gloves have great grip that doesn't wear out. I've used them for both cycling and hiking MANY times since I bought them in Oct.
Great fit. Been able to tie knots, use flint/steel, and even use a lighter with these gloves.
Warm, but there are some major considerations to take into account.
Cons: These gloves are not in the least windproof. Mind your windchill factor. They feel warm at 40-45 degrees, but that's without a wind. Get on a bicycle in that temp and you'll feel it. Don't depend on these gloves if it's windy and below 45 degrees.
These gloves are not warm if it rains. They are not waterproof nor do they contain heat if wet. Multiply that with a stiff wind... ouch!
Simply. It's not a glove with a wide range in temps and windchills.

Comments about Under Armour Armourstretch Gloves - Men's:
I bought a pair of these two years ago and they're still in perfect condition. The grip can be restored by putting them through the laundry. I use these gloves for running in all conditions and occasionally skiing in warmer weather. Mostly, I just use them as my everyday gloves for walking around. The palms breath quite well and the backs are warm. My only complaint is that they could be slightly more windproof.
