Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a light-weight jacket. The fleece interior makes it so soft and warm and the exterior works great a repelling small amounts of water. Looks great, feels great, absolutatly love it. I wear it almost every day...might need to get another!

Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
seriously stylish jacket! it looks great, and you can wear it anywhere. the fit is excellent-better than all the (more expensive) competition brands...and the material is softer! it is easy to slide on over clothing.
i have worn it in all sorts of colorado cold and wet weather conditions, and it keeps me warm and dry.
i love the trim fit-very flattering, and doesn't get in your way. overall, a great jacket!

Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
I bought the XS women's One jacket about 3 years ago. I'm petite (5'1) and it fits me perfectly in the sleeves and length, so it may be too short for taller people.
I've worn this jacket extensively for casual wear, hiking, and climbing, and it still looks new. The fit is very flattering, but it's still comfortable for climbing, etc. I often use it as a layer in colder weather. It works great under a rain shell.
No complaints at all, and it's one of the few items that is probably worth paying full price for.

Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
This is a great styling jacket. It is a little too tailored to be used for any serious back country activities (no hood, not long enough to cover pant line, no protective inner sleeve strap near wrist). The sleeves feel a little short if you try to wear a sweater or something under it. But for casual camping, city hiking, and trekking around town, I LOVE IT! It keeps me warm, not bulky looking and dry.

Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
This is an amazing jacket. I own 3 colors. Yeah, yeah, I really do! Black, yellow, light blue. I used it when I taught outdoor ed. Amazing-unless it was windy. Otherwise I wore it constantly. (That's why I ended up with 3.) I wear it inside and outside year-round. It is packable and light. I recommend it for any application. It allows you to sweat and not get cold. Wear a fleece under it for added warmth. Such an easy jacket to own. Each of my kids have one, bought one for my college age son, and husband. They all love it. Forget department stores. Cost per wear, it is here! The REI One jacket!!!! Sizing: I am 5'8" and 127#. I bought smalls, and they were just too snug in the chest and arms. So judge from there. Throw it in the washer and it looks the same. Love it! Going to Europe? Overseas. Get this one. I promise you will be amazed.

This jacket was recommended to me by a friend; It is a great buy. I wear it around the city and hiking through thick brush. (I went through a jungle of stinging nettle and emerged unscathed.) The jacket can get a bit too warm when I am really active, and I wish it came with the breast pocket like the male version. It's a versatile jacket which is perfect for a summer evening on the California coast or a winter in Northern Scotland. I love this jacket!

Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
I've had this jacket for over three years and it still looks like new. The cut/design is good -- I think it has a slimming effect! The three pockets are sized perfectly. It seems to have a narrow temperature range -- when I get too warm, I wish it had pit zips; when it gets too cold, I need to wear a parka over it (but it's small/thin enough that one can do this layering easily). I've used it on adventure trips as a layering piece during the day and my top/jacket at night.

Overall it's a good jacket. I climb in it all the time in J-tree and it holds up amazingly well. The only downside is that it's not as wind and water-resistant as we had hoped or were led to believe.

Comments about REI One Jacket - Women's:
My black One jacket was my favorite until I left it somewhere. The fit was great for going out and bar smoke washed out easily in a regular laundry cycle. The jacket always looked great afterward. I could scrunch it up in a bag and it would come out wrinkle-free. I wish I had bought two and now I'll wait until black ones appear again. The Lole Shell Jacket is similar, but longer and only has 2 pockets (no inside one or arm one). For me, it doesn't fit quite as well and the design on the back of the Lole Shell is too girlie.
