This smart-looking jacket combines casual good looks and weather-ready performance for city dwellers and urban adventurers.

Two-layer REI Elements®/polyester laminate fabric makes this jacket waterproof, windproof and breathable; seams are completely sealed
Brushed tricot lining with embossed topo-map pattern adds light warmth; taffeta-lined sleeves slide easily over clothing
Windproof to 60 mph
Brimmed, zip-off hood features a hidden rear volume adjuster and can be rolled into collar on sunny days
Internal rib-knit cuffs help seal warmth in
Raglan sleeves and underarm gussets aid mobility and overall comfort
Zippered handwarmer pockets and horizontal chest pockets hide behind low-profile, topstitched welts
Inside pockets include: zippered pocket with headphone port on left side and a map/ticket mesh pocket on the right side

I needed one jacket that I could take on our two week trip to France, for casual wear, rain wear, and even to wear with a skirt. This jacket served me perfectly. Every time I wear it I get compliments. I am going to buy another one so when this one wears out, I won't be mourning its loss.

Great all around rain gear...Have gotten a number of compliments on the jacket and have only had it a few weeks. But it also stood up to a weekend backpacking trip in the rain and snow as well. Only drawback is it is somewhat bulky for packing, but it kept me warm the entire trip.

I just bought this to wear while biking in cruddy Seattle weather. Turns out I love it so much that I don't ever want to take it off.

great coat, my only complaint is that it doesn't seem to block out the wind very well.
also, i have only worn it in light rain but it seemed waterproof enough. i just hope it holds up in a downpour.

This coat really fits me about perfect. I'm on the tall side (5'10") and the sleeves and length are about just right. I like that the sleeves have a comfortable band that keeps water from getting. It looks really nice on, and can be worn with jeans or skirts. I'm glad REI brought out the blue color.

Scored mine at a really good sale price, which always helps. Does not look anything like typical plastic-y rainwear - more like regular fabric. Roomy without being baggy. Should be good for any kind of weather I normally see here in SoCalif.

I just got this jacket at a total steal price, yet I would have definitely bought it full price. It is perfect for the commuter - keeps you dry, warm and breaths well. Has a handy iPod pocket, to boot. The perfect city-jacket. I wouldn't wear this hiking or biking - I think it would be too warm for me. But for commuting by bus and everyday wear, it is absolutely perfect!
