This lightweight long underwear zip T combines bamboo-derived charcoal with polyester for a high-performance base layer.

  • Polyester and bamboo-derived charcoal polyester blend offers moisture-, odor- and UV-management naturally without need of chemicals
  • Polyester yarns are embedded with charcoal from carbonized bamboo; the highly porous nature of carbon helps wick and disperse moisture, drying quickly
  • Bamboo charcoal naturally removes odor and particles from fabric—just like your water filter—and won't wash out
  • Naturally UV-resistant fabric with a UPF 30 rating shields skin from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays
  • Bamboo is a highly renewable resource that is easily grown without fertilizers and pesticides
  • Gusseted underarms allow a full range of motion without binding
  • Flatseam construction is soft and nonchafing next to skin
  • Machine washable

        I really like this product, because even though it's underwear (wear around the house), it's fancy enough (black) to wear anywhere. I wear it as a top in decent weather. Also good in layers.

          pretty good product. the north face quality gets worse every year though. very comfortable to wear and breathes well. i feel that it's cheaply put together though and don't know how long it will last, we shall see!

          Picked up this shirt at the REI Flagship store in Denver for a light baselayer on my way up to Winter Park for the day. First day I wore this shirt, it pulled all over the front from the velcro on my TNF soft shell jacket. I'm disappointed and obviously can't wear it now unless it's under something else. Plan on picking up some Patagonia Capilene as a replacement. TNF just got it wrong with this "piece".

            I wore this shirt for an entire week while day hiking in Glacier NP this year (late September). It was perfect as a base layer and more reasonably priced than moreno wool. I would just hand wash it at night and it was ready to go in the am. Can't beat the TNF quality and the price is right.

            Overall it's a very nice shirt. The first thing that annoyed me is the zipper began to snag my facial hair when I didn't shave for a few days. Really, really annoying and painful. Also, now that it's been washed and dried several times, the sleeves are considerably shorter. In the interest of fairness, I'm 6'2" and lanky. I still love Northface gear, but I won't buy this item again.
