This midweight long underwear zip-T combines bamboo-derived charcoal with polyester for an environmentally friendly, high-performance base layer.

Polyester and bamboo charcoal polyester blend for moisture-, odor- and UV-management using natural means instead of chemicals
Polyester yarns are embedded with charcoal from carbonized bamboo; the highly porous nature of carbon helps wick and disperse moisture, drying quickly
Bamboo charcoal naturally removes odor and particles from fabric—just like your water filter—and won't wash out
Naturally UV-resistant fabric with a UPF 50+ rating shields skin from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays
Bamboo is a highly renewable resource that is easily grown without fertilizers and pesticides
Droptail hem is longer in back, offering increased coverage for active sports
Gusseted underarms allow a full range of motion without binding
Flatseam construction is soft and nonchafing next to skin

This garment is one of the best for a technical first layer. I am not aware that I have a shirt on when wearing it. Light weight,soft,just super comfortable. It is a bit pricey,but most quality items are.

I bought two of these shirts and love them. They are warm and durable, aslo deter odor! a plus when you were them two days in a row while hiking. I also use them for running in fall and winter. they are excellent base layers or stand alone warmth. I like the long zipper neck and the material doesnt chaff.
