I live in Iraq...travel like a mad women... wash my clothes in a bucket... and these are the pants I can't live without!

The good reviews say it all (no need to repeat raves on fabric, knicker length & the right amount of stretch). The fit is perfect (I'm 5-11, medium build, long legs, size 10-12, and got the 12)... and makes my rear look great!

ps- I've even done yoga in these!

I wanted to find a pair of convertible pants for my overseas trips, and these are better than I thought I would find. Most of the convertibles--even the ones for women--are boxy and ugly. Prana got these right! The cargo pockets are a little oversized, but thats the only design aspect I dont like too much. The zip off length is slightly below the knee, making it acceptable for a variety of countries, and it fits the tush well (i.e., doesnt look like cargo pants). I would recommend ordering a size up; I am normally a 6 and needed the 8.

I had searched high and low for my perfect pair of cargo pants...aside from these being a bit too long (I'm 5'2", 125 lbs.), these pants definitely beat everything else I looked at. I wear my boots with these pants so they don't drag on the floor, but wearing sneakers aren't too bad. All and all they're completely awesome. Go ahead, buy a pair!

These are very comfortable and attractive pants. They breathe well and are versatile enough to use in many different outdoor situations.

I bought a size 6. For those that have fit questions, I am 5'5.5", with a 26-27" waist, 34" around the hipbone, 37-38" around the rear, and 22-23" around the thigh. I normally wear a size six pant, and these fit very loosely, enough that I would definitely feel comfortable in a size 4 as well. The material is also very stretchy. But they look great on, and the length is perfect, but more on the long side than the short side, to be more specific. The zip-off is indeed just below the knee.

I love these pants! I had to get them a size smaller because they tend to run big. Once I found the right size, they fit better than any convertable pants I've tried. I've worn them on numerous extended canoe and backpacking trips. My only complaint is that when the lower part is zipped off, the zipper dug into my knee when kneeling, causing some chafing.

I haven't worn these hiking yet, but I am wearing them right now and they fit and feel great. They are a perfect length, which is a rare find. A 32" inseam is too short for me, so these must be closer to 34". Since there is a drawstring I won't have to have the waist taken in or wear a belt. And the pockets should work great for hiking. My Delorme PN-40 GPS fits easily in the cargo pocket. I may have finally found the perfect hiking pants.

These pants fit just beautifully. They do run long, as mentioned, but that's a tiny thing relative to how they feel and how you'll look in them. Prepare to be asked what they are and where you got 'em!

These pants are great. The convertible shorts are not short like most convertible pants, which is exactly what I was looking for. The pants are extremely comfortable, easy to convert, and seem very durable. I purchased a size smaller than I normally wear, so I think they run one size too big. I almost didn't get these because of the price but once I tried them on I had to have them. Only bad thing I can say is that they seem to really attract lint, pet hair, etc.
