Insulated with quality 550-fill-power goose down for warmth, light weight and compressibility; quilt stitching keeps down from shifting
ecoSensitive™ recycled polyester shell and lining have a Durable Water Repellent finish to resist water and chilly winds
Use of recycled PET polyester helps reduce oil consumption and air emissions
Spandex binding around armholes secures fit and retains warmth

My 8 yr old daughter loves this vest. It is fashionable, warm, and easy to zip. She wears it on cool (yes, it does get cool here) Southern California mornings to walk to school. My 12 yr old son wanted one too, but the XL is too small for him as he is tall and slim.

We purchased this vest for our 8 month old daughter's trip to Minnesota and absolutely love it. She fit in both the 6 month and the 12 month sizes (the six month fits just right and the 12 month gives her some growing room). She is in the 90th percential for height and the 75th for weight. The vest keeps her toasty warm and looks super cute!

I would have loved to have kept this vest (our son too), but it fit too small. He is 36.5" tall and weighs about 37 lbs. I ordered the 4t to be on the safe growth side, and it was still too small for him. We loved the quality and color, but it just didn't fit. I'm ordering the black xs (4-5) kids down vest in the hopes that it will fit better (would have rather had blue, but it wasn't an option).
I would recommend the toddler vest to a friend after explaining the size problem.

This is a GREAT vest, but the sizes are waaaay off. My daughter wears a 2T in almost everything, but the size that she fits most comfortably into this vest in is a 4T. Important to know if you're buying online.

This jacket is great. The material is great. Not too bulky. One warning...it fits small. We ordered it online. My daughter is almost a 24 month fit. In this jacket, she is wearing the 3T and could probably go bigger.

I recently bought this product and a fleece gilet for my (just) 3 year old nephew.

Thorin is a very small wiry child with not an ounce of fat on him anywhere so I purchased a 3T and was suprised to find that the fit was extremely tight. In comparison to the REI 3T fleece lined jacket I bought at the same time it looked as though it was a 2T.

Other than the small size I can't fault the quality of this item. It is well made, beautifully warm and the boy loves it. Next time I will buy a size larger but I suppose that is the risk you take buying mail order.
