The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Wilderness Trail Bikes Speed Disc XC Wheel - Rear:
I rode these for about 50 weeks last year on pothole-ridden city streets, poorly-maintained crushed gravel trails, and (legal) forest preserve trails.
As with all wheelsets, the hubs needed slight adjustments out-of-the-box. Unlike most, they were incredibly well trued with good spoke tension. Because most manufacturers use cheap grease, I usually re-pack the bearings, too. However, I was delighted to discover that these hubs were packed in Phil Wood grease and needed no modification.
On the road and trail, these hoops are solid and inspire confidence. They roll fast and smooth, can take fairly big hits, and lock onto the tire beads like a pitbull on a porterhouse steak. Even overinflated slicks (110 psi) refused to pop off.
Yeah, they are a bit heavy, but at this price-point, nobody is lighter. I had heard that early production models had spoke problems, but 3500 miles under my 185# butt hasn't seemed to be a problem.
If you're a gram-counter, must have the absolutely finest gear, or a serious xc racer, these aren't for you. However as commuting/training/goofing-around wheels, the Speed Discs are great.

Comments about Wilderness Trail Bikes Speed Disc XC Wheel - Rear:
This product came with over tightened hub screws which created unwanted resistance in the barrings. But that was easy to fix. What made me upset was the freewheel body which has allot of inner resistance and instead of clicking it pulls the chain down along with it. I tried to change the freewheel body from my old shimano hub but the WTB inside hardware is different. All I am hoping for is that it will get better with more miles I put on it.
