Almost as soon as I put this jacket on, I was thinking about getting a second just like it. It fits like a costom made glove. Close fit yet non-restrictive. I'd recommend it to any one who's active and likes to stay warm and dry during your sports adventures

After having soft shells, I wanted something warm and cozy - the Mistral jacket is just that. I bought this jacket on Friday and have worn it ever since. I washed it once, cold water, powdered detergent, no fabric softener as the mfg. recommends, no fuzz left behind in the dryer lint filter so I thought I was in the clear. However today I wore a cotton t-shirt under it and took the jacket off - someone asked me why I looked like a tennis ball! Lint fuzz is everywhere on my clothes, the car seat belts, etc. Hopefully the lint left behind will subside otherwise I'll have to return it!

I bought this jacket for cycling in cool weather, and I was surprised that the wind resistance based in a tight weave rather than a laminate actually works. It also make the jacket much softer than ones with a laminate! However, I think that the athletic fit they claim is still a bit loose for me, so either the chest is a bit big or the sleeves are a bit short in the next lower size. I suppose that just means that layering is still an option!

This jacket is great. The fleece is incredibly soft. I haven't had the chance to wear the jacket outside being that the temperature is in the 90s, but I have worn it in my icebox of an apartment. It's very warm and it feels as though the fabric will deflect the wind. I like the extra pocket on the sleeve. I am 4'11 and about 100 pounds and the extra small fits fairly well, though it's a bit big (bigger than my other XS Mountain Hardware fleece).

Unfortunately, I have to reiterate the lint issue in the green specifically. I love everything about this jacket EXCEPT that it sheds everywhere. I have kept it because of everything else that is so great about it, but I cannot wear it anytime lint is an issue. Please fix!

I have had this for about a year and absolutely love it! I have the winter white one and wear A LOT of black clothing with it, and NEVER had a lint problem...could it be that just the green one sheds? I can not believe how wind resistant it is. I live in WI and walk my dogs religiously for an hour a day and have used this as a layer under my winter coat on some of the coldest days this winter and have even used it in 30 degree weather by itself and have always been toasty warm. I love it!!!!

I was so excited to buy this jacket as it's probably the most comfortable article of clothing I've ever tried on. Toasty warm, too. However, the outside of the jacket sheds an unbelievable amount of lint. I tried washing it a few times according to the manufacturer's directions, to no avail. Car seats/armrests, airplane seats, seat belts (both sides), my nylon messenger bag, my luggage, and even the passengers next to me all ended up with 1/4 inch coating of green fuzz sticking straight up like some sort of bizarre mold. I returned the jacket last night and got the Monkey Woman jacket as a replacement.. hopefully I will have more luck with that one.
