Comments about Chuckit! Ultra:
This product worked great for about an hour until my dog bit the ball in half. While the thrower is somewhat over manufactured with its comfortable soft rubber handle, the balls [*]! After sever "refill" balls it became clear that they are made to break so you'll buy new ones. Since they are smaller than an average tennis ball they really have you by the, ahem, balls.

Comments about Chuckit! Ultra:
The chuckit is a lifesavor if your dog likes to fetch or chase balls. Throwing the ball over and over is exhausting. The Chuckit helps you throw the ball farther and you can use the Chuckit to pick the ball back up without bending over to pick it up. Your arm will initially be sore from the Chuckit but once it gets used to it you will love it and not be able to live without it. It allows you to throw the ball really far for your dog over both excersing and tiring out your dog. Our dogs love it and so do most of the other dogs we see at the park. If you plan to take this hiking or on longer walks consider the chuckit junior. It isn't as long. If I so much as looked at the chuckit right now my dogs would go crazy and run to the front door. That says it all.

Comments about Chuckit! Ultra:
If your dog loves to play fetch, do yourself a favor and buy a Chuckit! ball launcher. Your arm, and your dog, will thank you. Plus, no more throwing slimy, wet balls for your pal.

Comments about Chuckit! Ultra:
I use "our" Chuckit every day after our morning "potty" walk. My Australian Cattle Dog, who is a very high energy dog, just has to see this thing in my hand now & he is out the door! I got this dog about 6 months ago from a local shelter & he was from a "dog hoarder" situation. The poor dog had never seen a tennis ball before & he was terrified of one. He had no idea how to play at all. I persistently tossed a ball where he could see me but away from him & then I went & got it myself, until he decided to join me. Then I introduced him to the Chuckit. As soon as he saw that ball flying through the air, I guess something clicked in his mind & he has been addicted to chasing the balls ever since! I use 2 regular, cheap, practice tennis balls with it & they fit just fine. I alternate with 2 balls because this dog is not real good at bringing back a ball yet, unless he sees that I'm gonna throw another one. I was always lousy at throwing balls but this Chuckit thing has made me a new woman & it really gives my dog a great morning, afternoon & evening workout. He is totally addicted to playing ball now! We both LUV the Chuckit! Oh yeah...I totally also love that I don't have to bend down & pick up icky, slimy, gooey tennis balls! This handle is very comfortable for my medium size hand & this Chuckit is the long range launcher @ 25".
