    For the last 4 decades I have been taking my own bags to supermarkets when shopping for food. For refrigerated items I pack blue ice in a refrigerated cooler bag. I have tried several brands over the years. The Kelty Binto cooler is by far the strongest, easiest to use, easiest to clean cooler bag I have found. The capacity is large, accomodating lots of groceries and other items. The bag is very easy to carry, either by the handle(s) or the shoulder strap. I bring two or three of these to the market three times a week, except when I bicycle to the market. I also use this bag for unrefrigerated items, as it's so easy to pack. Thus, there's no need to obtain paper or plastic bags at the market, and you can keep your perishables cold until you get home. Also used for travel and camping. Buy one or two now and save the planet every time you shop for food.

    We just got back from Yosemite and we brought the Binto with us and filled it with lots of cold drinks and ice. The cooler kept the drinks cold all night, and it didn't leak. We stayed in Curry Village and we had cold drinks the whole time we were there. As long as you fill it with ice, the cooler keeps things cold for 12 hours. It was also easy to drain the water out. I have lots of soft sided coolers and I love this one. The opening of the cooler is wide as well so it makes packing easy. It's also a great cooler to take to the beach and have a beach day lunch.
