Comments about Kelty Duo Bin:
Shopping, camping, picnicing...the perfect companion. Keep it in the car for anything. Compact enough to stay out of the way, large capacity when you need it.

Comments about Kelty Duo Bin:
The practical useability of the Duo Bin is compromised by some of the frills. The fact that you can separate the insulated and non-insulated sides is cool, but the food preparation area (one of the neater innovations) doesn't function unless you have both sides of the cooler and have them zipped together. It is a little heavy, and unless you have the non-insulated side filled with canned goods the insulated side is certain to be heavier, setting the bag way off balance and making it even harder to carry. It is very awkward and difficult to carry when filled. The insulated side didn't leak, but the zippers aren't waterproof in the least, and I got soaking wet carrying the Duo Bin 255 feet from my car to the campsite. It stayed fairly cold, but is best for one day's worth of usage only. I think I'll enjoy using it for a day at the park or a sporting/tailgating event. It's not the best for overnight or multi-day camping trips. The strap should be padded. Both sides do hold much more than you'd expect, but organizational features (like pockets) are somewhat sacrificed for the space.

Comments about Kelty Duo Bin:
Innovative, well thought out product from Kelty. Has been very useful for everything from picnics, grocery runs (save a bag or three!) and general family camping/travel.
Size is very good as each bin swallows more than you'd think possible. Cold side keeps ice fairly well, but really not designed for multi-day cold storage.
Pop-up table in-between works well, but is more for serving convenience than actual food prep as it it too light to really work on. No matter, though, as it works well in that regard -- and stows!
The Duo-Bin would have earned 5 stars except for the fact my first one leaked... badly. Still, it was replaced under warranty; so no real harm, no foul. Hopefully my second will be water tight. Otherwise, GREAT PRODUCT!
