Add this counter balance to your North Water rescue float (sold separately) to make self-rescues safer and more efficient.

  • Counter balance is simply a pleated nylon bag that clips to both ends of the paddle float
  • When submerged the bag fills with water creating additional resistance that prevents your paddle from lifting out of the water during a self-rescue
  • PVC flap at the mouth of the bag acts as a one-way valve preventing water from escaping the bag
  • Water is drained out of the bag by simply flipping your paddle blade over; the water drains through mesh on the topside of the bag
  • Counter balance is designed to be used only with the North Water rescue float
