- When submerged the bag fills with water creating additional resistance that prevents your paddle from lifting out of the water during a self-rescue
- PVC flap at the mouth of the bag acts as a one-way valve preventing water from escaping the bag
- Water is drained out of the bag by simply flipping your paddle blade over; the water drains through mesh on the topside of the bag
- Counter balance is designed to be used only with the North Water rescue float
