The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Pedro's Chainj Lube - 4 oz.:
I love commuting on my bike to work and when I found Chainj it withstood the long New England winter. Using Chainj was very easy to apply - simply put it on my chain - and what I found was a little goes a LONG way! And when I needed to clean my chain, where this is vegetable based, I found it very easy to clean with a mild degreaser!
The best thing about Chainj - it is a GREEN product and does not harm our planet!
Service and delivery comments:
My delivery was prompt and arrived in great condition, as always.

Comments about Pedro's Chainj Lube - 4 oz.:
I just finished a 4oz bottle of ChainJ. I've used it for about 6 months.
It's probably a decent lubricant.
It's safe and green.
I've had to spend too much time cleaning the drivetrain. It leaves a tar like mess and attracts dirt.
I used Boeshield previously, which is very clean if applied properly.
I'm going to try Pedro's Go! next.

Comments about Pedro's Chainj Lube - 4 oz.:
This is good for extremely wet conditions, but I would look elsewhere for a every-day chain lube. I got this for riding in the rainy spring and fall in Anchorage, but I found it to be overkill for my needs. The chain cleans off easily with a chain scrubber, but it also gums up the derailer and the whole crankset, which takes a lot more scrubbing.

Comments about Pedro's Chainj Lube - 4 oz.:
This lube works well, but it tends to pick up every piece of dust out on the trail. It says on the bottle that it's for mixed conditions, but I'd only ever use this stuff if it's wet outside. If you stay on pavement for your entire ride, it might not be too bad. However, go on a dusty trail and when you get home your chain will look like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. Degreaser gets it off easy, but I'll stick to a cleaner lube for dry-weather use.
