Comments about Bike Peddler Take A Look Mirror:
Have used these for about ten years and heartily recommend! Adjustment is simple and works in all axes. Best of all, once set, the settings stay. Great field of view. Right side version also available. Keep that in mind for biking in Scotland or other places where people drive on the left side of the road. I'll try the helmet mount adapter. Eyeglass side pieces must be reasonably wide to support this mirror. Won't work with my new sunglasses with wire side pieces.

Comments about Bike Peddler Take A Look Mirror:
I mostly mountain bike, but recently started riding to work. On these back roads I decided I needed a mirror to see what was coming up behind me. Since I commute on a mountain bike I didn't want a handlebar mount. My primary concern was having a mirror with enough surface area to get a good view behind me, and one that would stay steady in a strong head/cross wind. This mirror met all of my criteria and more! I have ridden with this mirror clipped to my helmet visor in 30+mph headwind and it never even budged. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Bike Peddler Take A Look Mirror:
Yes, the other reviewers are correct, this is the best option out there. I've tried the others and they pale in comparision to this model. Takes several rides to get accustomed to but don't give up, it will become second nature after a while. You'll fiddle with the mirror angle a LOT during your first few rides so be careful with that distraction. Yes, you'll need to turn/tilt your head a little to get the best view behind you but once you master the technique you'll appreciate the added safety this mirror provides. I just returned from a 300 mile road trip with this unit and the peace of mind it provides is beyond words. I won't leave home without it.

Comments about Bike Peddler Take A Look Mirror:
The best mirror on the market. Fully adjustable mirror (right/left/up/down) that attaches to helmet visor, glasses frame or to a special adapter that can be attached to your helmet. A slight movement of your head can bring anyghing behine you into clear view.

Comments about Bike Peddler Take A Look Mirror:
Provides great view to the rear.
Very stable, not much movement while riding. Other models jiggle around too much while riding, this one is quite stable.
The only issue is that if you use this with your glasses, the frame must be thin in order to work well. I have sun glasses that a wide plastic frame and it's difficult to mount them on, I feared warping the metal pins on the mirror - so I had to mount the mirror to my helmet instead.

I use this daily for bike commuting and fitness/recreational rides. I've used the plastic-framed mirrors before, and none work as well as this one. It stays at the angle I need it to and clips firmly to my Oakley Radars, which means all I have to do is glance at my mirror to see what's behind me. I can definitely see it being useful in other outdoor activities as well.

I have had several PLASTIC mirrors of this type, and the attachment clip breaks after a while. This model is all METAL, and it rocks!

I use this for my commutes. It takes a bit to get used to it - give it a few days. But once I got used to it I can't ride without it. It is very steady - I can glance at it and focus on the cars, rather than watching the cars jiggle around in the mirror. I also have a handle bar mirror, but this one gives me a much better idea of how close the cars are.

I've had one of these for several years. It's well made and has outlasted 3 pairs of sunglasses. The only issue I've had with it is that it works better if your glasses have rectangular temples: if they're circular, it can get knocked out of alignment too easy.

Comments about Bike Peddler Take A Look Mirror:
The mirror is very clear, and a good size; the lack of frame makes it look clean. It installs and adjusts easily. I keep it on my sunglasses all the time, I adjust it to check my blind-spot when I'm driving. Biggest plus, it looks cool.
