The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
Pros: Great knife out of the box, comes with a awesome sheath that can be worn on your boot or wherever you choose to put it. Comes Rather sharp and I love the weight of it
Cons: Handle isnt all that comfortable and slippery when wet, I rapped skaters tape over it and now it works great
This knife is illegal to carry concealed in California and maybe in other states. Also some police officers may consider it a dirk or dagger so I would recommend only using it on the trail or at home.
The double sided blade is cool but takes some getting used too, As I often find myself wanting to push against the other side of the blade while cutting.
All in all a good knife

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
Other reviews have said that this knife is a little heavy, and it is. But, it would not be very noticeable on a belt or on the strap of your backpack. It is very durable, but in exchange it requires diligent upkeep or it will rust. I am more than an average knife guy, and it really sucks when you get a pretty good knife and a crummy case or sheath. That is not an issue here. The case that comes with this knife is of very good quality and employs a pretty smart Velcro strap system so that you can strap it anywhere from your belt to your calf. I give this knife Two Thumbs UP.

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
This knife is more for protection than anything. It is a boot knife made for stabbing, not cutting. It's weight alone pushes it cleanly through 3 sheets of copy paper.

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
this knife is great, requires maintenance though, i sharpen it about once a week to make sure she's ready, she hangs out very comfortably on the bottom of a backback shoulder strap, visible to all. great knife to practice throwing with too,

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
It's a little heavy and is made from carbon steel, not stainless steel, so it will rust if not maintained properly. Non-serrated blade isn't suited for tough cutting tasks.

This is the perfect knife to have when you don't want to dull your primary knife. It's small enough to attach to your pack; and it's durable enough take care of any out-door chore.

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
This is a nice, heavy little knife. The weight caught me off guard but not at all in a bad way. My only real gripe is the grip on this knife. Had CRKT used some texture in the handle or maybe a rubbery layer it would have been nice. My knives go through a lot and good grip is essential. I'm in Iraq so I don't encounter much water at the time, but I could see using this knife in a wet environment pretty sketchy without added athletic tape or something on the handle.
All in all I'd say it's a nice little knife for a back-up or self-defense. Won't be coming with me on my Thru-Hike of the AT next year though as I wouldn't consider it worth it's weight for such a trip.

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
Weight is only concern for carrying when back packing or day hiking. But weight is a beneficial under certain uses. Need to keep it maintained or it'll rust for sure.

Comments about Columbia River A.G. Russell Sting Knife:
This is a great knife but the sheath needs some work. When the Velcro leg straps rubbed against the sheath it stated to wear at the sheath and tore it up. The knife is good and a cool design but it was not very sharp and had to sharpen it before it could do good cutting.
