I recieved these a few days ago, and these are by far the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I was going to buy either these, or a set of oakley's, but these far outweigh the competition. The pricing is much more aggressive, as a pair of polarized glasses from Oakley are easily twice as much. The optical quality easily meets or exceeds the competition. The lifetime warranty also is a major plus. The hinges appear to be very durable, and these frames can take a beating. I highly recommend these.

I recommend these glasses for those of you who have longer eye lashes! I struggle with sunglasses because of my eye lashes rubbing the lenses and smearing, but these sit far enough away from your eye's that they do not smear. These are great glasses. Very comfortable, clear view, stylish and rugged. However, I think they are more focused for casual/beach/boating than they are for backpacking or sports. Overall I am very pleased - and[$]for black on black polarized sunglasses is a great deal!

I love these glasses, and the fact that they are polarized is amazing. I was a little rough with them and the left ear piece hinge is now a little looser than when I bought them but that was my own fault. I would recommend only people with large heads, like myself, to get these sunglasses. They are made for bigger people and that is why I love them! I am originally from Colorado so I know the need for a great pair of shades!

Love them, but the Cheap Color Wrap over the clear frames peels off. For the $$, you can do better with another manufacturor. Smith has let the frame quality go down.
