Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
This is my first harness, so bear that in mind with this review. :) So far in the 4 weeks I've been using it, it's sooo much more comfortable than the rentals. The leg loops are cushy and dry quickly, the whole harness is quite roomy (I'm 5'5", 140 lb., got a size small), is as un-complicated as a harness can be, and it seems to be durable. It even looks good, which isn't necessary for a harness by any means but is always a plus, right? Only downside is that there's only one adjustment strap for the waist, so snugging it in makes the gear loops and rear haul loop off-center. I've only climbed indoors so far, so it hasn't been an issue. But keep that in mind if you're taking protection etc. outside. I would have given it 4.5 stars if that were an option; I think 4 underrates it.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
I am a novice climber who has climbed a fair amount outside, but I also use this harness for gym climbing. Like other reviewers, finding a harness has been a challenge because I have a size 4 waist and size 10/12 hips - don't even get me started on the thighs!
The waist cinches nicely tight, providing ample room for me to tighten it when I am just wearing a tank top, but with plenty of room if I want to add more layers in the cooler weather. It is quite comfortable along the waist, with the ventilation being noticeable, as other reviewers have said.
The leg loops are well padded. I have the medium and do not need to have the leg loops expanded all the way.
I have worn this harness outside in 100-degree+ weather and it's still as comfortable and breathable as climbing in the gym. I don't have any issues with the gear loops as some reviewers have. I find gear to be easy to access and even though the loops do not stick out very far, it's easy to reach them all.
Overall, I am happy with the function of this harness, but I am also thrilled with the esthetics. I debated between buying the Black Diamond Primrose, but the flowery design was a big turn-off for me - enough so that I felt this harness was worth the extra cash.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
I've used this harness mostly for basic outdoor routes, at gyms and for some multi pitch climbing and it is incredible comfortable. The triangular shaped leg loops prevents them from cutting into thighs. I love it!

For gym use, this harness is beautiful. It is comfy cozy and I like the way it is set up.
For outdoor climbs where I carry more gear, I would like the gear loops in the back to be a little easier to hook gear onto. Overlapping and larger would have been perfect.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
This is a great harness: it's comfy for a long day of climbing, easy to get in and out of, and is ventilated very well. The gear loops aren't positioned in the most accessible way, but once you get used to reaching a little bit farther for gear, it's a non-issue. I really like the doubleback mechanism on this harness: it's extremely easy to use, especially when you're hands and forearms are pumped from a long day of climbing.

I spend long days climbing out at Smith Rock and I have always enjoyed this harness. Other women's harnesses have never felt this comfortable. Light weight and easy to put on are a true bonus.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
The only climbing gym I go to is for bouldering so I only use this harness outdoors. This harness was my upgrade from the AL Primrose Black Diamond harness and it was very much worth it. This harness is very comfortable and very lightweight. The design is simple and is easy to unpack and put on. Some complain about sizing issues... I have a 25 inch waste and 34 inch hips so the larger leg loops work well for me. This harness was made for those with a "womanly" shape.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
I hadn't climbed in a long time and needed a new harness. Everything I tried on hurt when I was hanging. The Luna felt different in the store - no pain! And it fit my pear shaped body (with other harnesses, the leg loops didn't fit). I just got back from outdoor climbing where I "hung" a lot - the harness did great.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
I tried so hard to like this harness, especially since it has the most comfortable waist belt I've ever worn; but I just couldn't get over the leg loops. The bands just aren't wide enough! They either need to be a little bit wider to distribute the weight better, or offer just a tad more padding. I'm an average size and in good shape, so it wasn't just an issue of the harness being too small--no matter how I adjusted it, for some reason they still dug into the backs of my legs and cut off circulation while hanging. The harness was a perfect fit otherwise, and I would highly recommend this harness if it doesn't kill your legs.

Comments about Petzl Luna Climbing Harness - Women's:
This harness is the most comfortable one out there for women. It is very well padded, but at the same time well vented for climbing in the outdoor summer heat. One big flaw of this harness is its gear loops. they are not flared out like most others, they are angled straight down from the waist belt. This is a poor design for a women's harness since any gear you put on the loops are difficult to reach (the loops sit high above the hips), and the gear sits up against your hips making it a struggle to get the gear off when on a difficult route (since the gear loops do not flare out from the harness). These gear loops are not very functional for sport or trad climbing due to the small size and difficulty get gear on and off the loops quickly. the padding is good enough for long all day routes...but without functional loops to put gear on, you probably wont be seeing much long routes in this harness unledd you buy a gear sling.
