Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
it's a super fun little toy. comes with ample string, easy to assemble and flies great. I take it backpacking anywhere i might run into an open field or beach.
it's a little hard to compact back down once you pull it out of the carrying case so pay attention to how it's folded when you pull it out.

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
This Kite is awesome. It folds up into the little pouch it came with time and time again. It so small that I just carry it around in my backpack along with my frisbee. If you just want to have to option to fly a kite, whenever, this is a good choice.

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
Kite assembled easily.
Line was a tangled mess. Only about 1/3 of the line was usable. Very disapointing for the kids to watch the "new" kite and the line was a tangled mess.

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
This kite is great for enjoying the good ol days of kite flying without the headache or lackluster designs of the early 90s. The stowaway kite is genius! folding into a nice compact package that literally anyone can fly. caveat: as long as there is a steady breeze.
And even if you don't ind yourself an avid kite flyer, the artwork on the kite itself is great to hang up in the office, above the cubicle, or in your child's room.
Prism is a solid kite manufacturer and is based out in washington. Their customer service is also fantastic as well!

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
I bought this kite for my 2 year old son and I to fly at the beach. What an easy kite to fly! My son and I had a blast at OBX with this kite. I linked it to a fence railing with a carabiner and it sailed for 8 hours unattended. I have since bought a Prism Jazz and SnapShot 1.2 for more advanced flying but still fly the Stowaway at every outing.

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
Once again Prism quality and a great design come through. This is a great version of the classic diamond kite that flies exceptionally well. Easy to fly and more stable than any other kite of like desgin. Don't waste your money on cheaper kites. This one is great and will last.

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
This kite is so fun. I throw it in the pack. Who cares what it weighs? (Which isn't much). I highly recommend it. REI even replaced mine, no questions asked when I broke a strut in a huge gust that came up the col. Hike early, Hike often. PS Don't forget to race the dark once in a while.

Comments about Prism Designs Stowaway Diamond Kite:
I've been using pocket parafoil kites on hikes and bike rides, but find they are very difficult to fly. This kite folds down very small, but is quite rigid once assembled. This kite is easy to launch and difficult to crash. Quality materials are used, although care must be taken when repacking the kite to avoid tearing.
