The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
This rack is a great storage solution for a smaller apartment or dorm. It would also be an easy and convenient rack for a garage or basement. The rack is very stable and does not require any drilling into walls or ceilings; perfect for renters. I'm able to keep both my mountain bike and road bike stacked out of the way in the most efficient possible use of space. The rack is stable enough that it doubles as a maintenance stand to do your own tune-ups.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
Less than 30 minutes to assemble; Functional in a very tight space. Really happy I made the purchase over a rack that offered almost the same options but was[$] or so more expensive. Read review somewhat complaining about the gaudy appearance and lack of sturdiness. I can't say those are necessarily accurate criticisms. The shape and color are both minimalist and inconspicuous; for the weight the rack is remarkably sturdy.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
I looked at this product a year ago and thought of getting it, but we opted to keep the bikes stored in another area through the winter. We recently got it with my 20% off coupon and put it together. And, the price at REI is 30 dollars cheaper than the competing cycling store (before the discount). I would be crazy not to get it here at REI. Anyways, My wife looked at me after it was up and said "and, why didn't we get this last year?" A double score!! Two happy people with one purchase.
Some of the reviews read that it is flimsy, poor construction, not easy to assemble, not good looking, etc... and, I cannot for the life of me, understand any of that.
From opening the box to propping it against the wall and hanging a bike on it ~ 8 minutes total. I am mechanically inclined, and this required none of that inclination...
My cycles are pretty light weight, all are under 20 pounds. In my opinion this will have zero problem holding two cycles whose combined weight is far over twice that. If anything, that heavier weight makes it more sturdy and grounded (less likely to tip). And, if that is an issue, it comes with a method for attaching the top end to the wall. They used decent tubing to make it, all of which are screwed together to provide for more durability/reliability. It is sturdy.
The two rubber feet are made of a "super bouncy ball" rubber and they grip well, and I am confident no paint or drywall will be stuck to the support at the top (made of the same rubber - different color).
The rungs to hang cycles/stuff on are durable steel and coated very well in a decent rubber, there are no issues expected there.
Looks. I don't really stare at it like or as "art." It is what it is, a contemporary looking steel structure holding my sweet bikes up out of the way so they don't get scratched up or tipped over.
Honestly, a great purchase. I regret not getting it sooner.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
This is a great storage rack. I only store one bike on it and use the other two hooks for my helmet, bike lock, and a bag. Doesn't mark up the walls. Only complaint is occasionally when taking down, or putting on a bike if you bump a hook it will slide down.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
My wife and I bought this bike storage to keep our bikes indoors during the rain/winter. From pulling the storage out of the box to setting it up was easy as 1-2-3 but adjusting the arms hooks to fit our bike frames was a pain. It took about 45 minutes for us to play with the hooks and to be satisfied. As for stability, we have it set up in our town home and on carpet and it seems to be holding up pretty good but I am still questionable of the stability.

You wouldn't want to do battle with this, but it does the job it's intended for just fine.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
keeps both of my bikes out of the way and look nice hanging in my small new york city apt. hangs crooked due to uneven floors but still sturdy and secure. does not leave any marks on the wall. use with a road bike and hybrid bike. can't imagine there could be any fit problems with mountain bike.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
Not a bad bike rack, for the price. I agree with most other reviews that it is a little flimsy, but like the fact that it doesn't need to be screwed into a wall. It takes up surprisingly little floor space and can easily hold two bikes. We have several and use them to store both road bikes and mountain bikes.

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
As advertised, this product is simple to put together, elementary to put in place, and can hang two bikes in minutes. That being said, the thin rubber sheath around the hooks will wear out within a month (I rewrapped mine in electric tape), and the slightest transgression when removing or installing a bike will send the hook arms cascading down the frame, which will drive you to madness. The plastic stud at the top that is the contact point between the rack and the wall is just sticky enough that it will eventually pull the paint off the wall where it makes contact, leaving a dime-sized bare spot

Comments about Delta Michelangelo Gravity Storage:
I use the rack to store my road bike and my mountain bike. It was easy to put together and stands up very well, even on a slightly sloping floor surface. I like that it doesn't need to be bolted into the wall, but has a small chain at the top if you choose to do so. Now, I know I did say that a "con" for me was that it had an ugly design and what I mean is that I simply don't like the way it looks, but it is completely functional and easy to use. I'm willing to get over the way it looks to have a great way to store my bikes inside.
