Timex® Zone Trainer heart rate monitor helps you track your fitness level and progress.

Display allows easy reading of continuous heart rate and elapsed time so you don't need to break stride
Automatic and manual training zones help you systematically condition your heart, helping you get and stay fit; has visual in-zone indicator
Heart rate functions include after-workout recall of average, peak and minimum heart rates as well as recall of time in zone
On-the-chest monitor provides continuous heart rate readings during even the most intense activities
In addition to beats per minute, unit also displays percentage of max heart rate and tracks calories burned
One-minute and two-minute recovery rate timers let you determine how quickly your heart recovers after intense activity
Stopwatch features 27-workout memory recall and a 99-lap counter
Other watch functions include countdown timer, month/date, 12/24 hour time and three time zones
Uses digital transmission which eliminates cross-talk with other monitors and instruments
INDIGLO® night light allows use in low-light conditions
Comfortable elastic strap is water-resistant to 99 feet (30 meters) so you can use monitor in the rain; not intended for underwater use
Watch is also water-resistant to 30 meters
CR 2032 3v batteries (included) in chest strap and wrist unit are replaceable by the consumer

After a whole lot of research I ended up buying this HRM and I am glad I did. It has more features than any other watch at its price point and comparable features to others much more expensive. It works flawlessly, is very intuitive and easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have a Repeat Mode on the Timer, otherwise, I couldn't ask for anything else. I was a little hesitant to buy a Timex due to a couple reviewers online that complained that Timex tended to lose connectivity between chest strap and wrist watch. This has been no issue whatsoever. If this HRM has the features you want, don't hesitate. Buy it, it works great!

It's a great price and is packed full of features, but only lasts about a year. I just had my second chest strap/monitor fail after the warranty was up by about 2 weeks, or 12 months and 2 weeks. I'm going to be shopping for another brand.

I bought this HRM strictly for road and mountain biking and I wanted something that was reliable and easy to use without a ton of extra features. This HRM is definitely easy to use, however, after just over a year of using it the chest strap no longer gives a signal. I swapped out the battery thinking it needed a new one and it turns out the strap has simply quit working. I bought this right after it came out and there weren't many reviews on it. Now that it has been out a while I see many other people are having the same problem and for that reason I would not recommend it.

The chest strap/transmitter will fail within a year. My second one lasted 6 weeks. New ones cost $8 from the repair center. Buy a better unit from someone else

can't figure out how to stop it, once i start it and i'm not dumb. the hoops you have to jump through to set this up is just not worth it. Very disapointed and am returning it
