I bought a two. I've mounted both tires at least three times. Tried to work the flat spots out of both tires. No luck. It's a PITA (really) to roll down the street on a high pressure tire going bump-bump bump-bump bump-bump bump-bump. Finally returned them for credit and exchange + upgrade. I may have been unlucky and gotten a couple of duds, but I didn't want to take the chance.[...].

Blew out four tubes before I realized that the stated size, 700c x38, was incorect. The tire looks to be twice the diameter printed on the sidewall.

These are the easiest-to-mount 700C tires I have ever used. Only needed a tool for placing the last 5" of tire bead on the 2nd side, on the 2nd tire I mounted. Tread is exceptionally deep, but surprisingly does not seem to cause much drag when riding on pavement. Relatively low pressure rating (35-55) means a comfortable ride, with good bump absorbsion. Note, however that the sizing is very misleading. It appears the stated size is representing the tire dimensions before you add air. A 700x38 after inflation really measures out to more like a 42-44, depending on how much air you adde. So check your clearances carefully before you purchase. Overally for a relatively inexpensive tire, it delivers a nice value.

I was able to put these tires on my wheels without problem. The salesman at REI said the edges of the tires might cause a little difficulty getting the tires on the rims of the wheels (they seem to have an edging that is slightly stiff), but I had no problem with standard tools.
