The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Wilderness Trail Bikes VelociRaptor Foldable Tire - 26 x 2.1:
I switched to this tire when trails got wetter and I loved them. They provide great traction, and clear mud well enough. Great tire in the dry too. They are also tough, no puncture flats on rocky single track, and no pinch flats. I'd keep them on all year if they rolled a little better. And there's the downside, high rolling resistance, and bad on paved roads. But you don't buy tires like this to commute on. [...]

Comments about Wilderness Trail Bikes VelociRaptor Foldable Tire - 26 x 2.1:
Have been running these tires for a long time. One of the best all around tires I have ever used for dry, moist, rocky, flat, or sandy trails all around Texas and Oklahoma. Grips very well on any type of climb (loose, rock, hardpack) and is a very reliable tire in all aspects. Since using these, I have been waiting for WTB to make a race version of this tire. Weighing in at almost 800g's, these tires are the heaviest ones I have ever kept on my bike. The traction and ride you get makes the weight bearable. The tires are also very slow rollers with a lot of rolling resistance. You can feel like your brakes are rubbing in certain situations when it is just the tires. I am switching to something much lighter for my next tire for race season, but these have been very good to me over the last 4-5 years. I am looking for something lighter and faster now, but will keep these on a spare set of wheels for wet days in loose trail. Best aspect of these things is their ability to get you and your bike up that tough climb. If you are riding a lot of smooth, level, hardpack trails, these will work, but you may want to opt for something like the Wolverine which is lighter and faster.
