Comments about Gerber Cornea LED Flashlight:

As other reviewers have pointed out, this light is not as bright as the tactical-type flashlights made by Fenix and Surefire, nevertheless, the beam is still much stronger than that cast by your typical 2 D-cell hardware store flashlight. It is *very* solidly constructed and built to handle the elements. I suspect it will function well for many years.

Comments about Gerber Cornea LED Flashlight:

I purchased the cornea with the intentions of lighting the trail. This Gerber product definitely does that and at times seems brighter than I originally expected. The problems I have with the torch comes in my personal comfort in holding it. It has the police officer switch on it that sometimes causes my thumb grief. I do enjoy it and believe it is a good buy.

This is a great one for the house or car campsite. It's nice and bright and has a great rear thumb police style button. For [$] this is a good buy. It's probably a big large for hiking

Comments about Gerber Cornea LED Flashlight:

The beam is very bright and projects quite well, but it's too to be much help on hikes. It's also heavier than I'd like for backpacking purposes. I just leave it in my car because as a regular flashlight it's great. I'll buy a headlamp for hiking/backpacking, like I should have in the first place.

Needed dependable light to check on my horses 200 ft away. This works better than I expected. For the money I am very pleased.

Good Flashlight, but don't expect a super bright light. I like the easy tale cap switch. Also, the light is heavy even with Lithium batteries.

Comments about Gerber Cornea LED Flashlight:

It's very bright and sturdy but the only down side is that the light is not very adjustable - it's always a spotlight and doesn't have a "wide" spread "mode".

Comments about Gerber Cornea LED Flashlight:

The cornea is a well built flashlight that offers a consistent beam. I don't know if the cost is entirely worth the product. If you are looking for a quality flashlight spend the extra 20 bucks and go higher end.
