      I just had the experience of truly testing the reason we all should wear a helmet. I purchased this helmet 6 months ago and just recently was t-boned by a truck going about 20 miles an hour. My head hit the truck along with the rest of my body and after everything was said and done the helmet did its job of protecting my head. The helmet survived with barley a scratch and let's just says that I will be purchasing a Giro again!

        My head survived because of this helmet. A pickup coming out of a driveway with a huge blind spot backed into me and I went under the truck. The helmet cracked but my head did not, yea! Need a new bike, but I am going to be okay. I will by another Giro.

          I got the white stylus and It's a superb helmet. It vents like no tomorrow and keeps me dry. Lightweight and aerodynamic for the price. The only thing that bothers me is the adjustment straps near the ear it bugs me a lot actually so i have to keep adjusting it.

              My husband was hit by a car wearing this helmet. His head made a hole in the windshield, and the helmet barely looks like it was in an accident. We will be buying this same helmet for him again, and I will be getting one too.

              What I like about this helmet is I forgot I had it on. It's lighweight and comfortable. The only downside is the back of the head adjustment and release are a poor design. The release is on top of the adjustment so it's really tricky to adjust the tightness without accidently hitting the release, especially if you have a ponytail.
