Comments about Smith Proof Sunglasses - Polarized:
These glasses are very light and super comfortable. They dont pinch my ears or give me a headache like many glasses do. And yes, they are very stylish. The lenses are a soft brown color and truly cover my full range of vision without obstructing any of it. I dont hink I would take these into the backcountry, but they definity look and feel good when hiking or rolling around town. I highly recomend them to all the stylish ladies out there!

Comments about Smith Proof Sunglasses - Polarized:
Great glasses for all around mountain use. Ride in them, ski in them, drink beer in them. Just get them. They do scratch a bit easier than I'd like, but that's offset by the optical quality of the polarized lens.
Rode them while mountain biking and, despite some initial concern, they performed better than expectations. Brown lens did well with shade/sun transitions and root/rock clarity. Eventually gave away my 'riding' shades b/c I no longer needed them.

Comments about Smith Proof Sunglasses - Polarized:
I decided to spend more than $20 on glasses. I shopped for about 3 months and decided to buy these in the Stout fade finish. They fit great and the Brown lenses soften and clarify everything. I also can't say enough about how much help the staffers at the Seattle and Lynnwood WA stores were. I boat a lot and these are great after a long day in the sun, they cut the glare and stay on the face even when sweaty, and when I say sweaty I mean Central America sweaty. I highly recommend Smith glasses to anyone who want a great set of specs.

Comments about Smith Proof Sunglasses - Polarized:
This is the first set of expensive specs I've bought since 1996, I wore them all day with zero "temple" pain or fatigue. I purchased the "Stout Fade" model and the lens color is perfect, exactly like the website. The frame color appears different on their website, but the REI picture is spot on. They fit perfectly and the Polarization is perfect.
Service and delivery comments:
I went to the REI in Seattle, they did not have the Stout Fade in, but called around to Alderwood and secured me a pair at that store. Both stores treated me very well and helped answer all of my questions.
