The REI Downtime +10 down sleeping bag provides great warmth for its weight, plus excellent durability and compressibility. It's a high-performance, low-priced choice for cold-weather pursuits!
- 600 fill-power goose down insulation is distributed efficiently to maximize warmth; 60% on top and 40% on the bottom
- Relaxed fit from hip to knees increases comfort by providing some move-around-in space
- Contoured hood and roomy foot section provide a comfortable, nonrestrictive fit, so you stay warm
- Full draft collar keeps the cold from penetrating through the top of the sleeping bag
- Differentiated drawcords (1 round, 1 flat) let you adjust hood and neck easily in the dark

This is an amazing deal on an amazing bag. I use mine mostly for winter backpacking or any time when weight is an issue. It is compressible enough with a compression sack to fit almost any ultralite pack. It provides ample room in the knees and hip area. I have never gotten it very wet just a little on my feet so I don't know how resistant it is to that. All in all I am very satisfied with this bag and at this price how could you turn it down.

This is a great bag for the price. My husband and I have the same bag- his is the long version and mine is the regular version. We both are very satisfied with the bag from using it on our recent backpacking trip in the Cascades. This bag is a great find for the price.
My only complaint for this bag is the temperature rating. I would rate this a 20+ degree sleeping bag. We were camping in cold conditions, the temp got down to about 15 degrees, and I was cold one of the nights of our trip. I remedied this the second night of our trip by putting hand warmers in my long underwear to keep me warm, and using my REI fleece bag liner and I was warm and cozy the next two nights.

I spent 40 days in the Himalaya and this bag kept me warm and comfortable. Temps dipped to 0 degrees at night up high (max. elevation 20,000). This bag is compact, comfortable and functional. Highly recommend for cold mountain conditions within its rated and stated purpose. Packs easily.

I love this bag, and it's at a great price. It's a pretty simple sleeping bag, but it is warm and lightweight. I have used this on several trips, and never been cold. One trip in the Sierras in late September, my friend had a 15 degree bag (unsure what brand) and he was cold that night, but I was quite comfortable in this bag. My only 'complaint' is that it doesn't have any sort of pocket for a headlamp, or small personal items. But other than that, I absolutely love it!

This bag is great for cold weather persuits, but I did find it a bit warm for beach camping and a little tight around the knees. One can always help decrease the temperature rating for this bag by purchasing a bag liner, if they plan on camping in temperatures that fall below 10 degrees.
I find this bag easy to use, as I have rarely encountered a snag with the zipper. The only thing I would like to see in this bag and other sleeping bags is Goretex features (something that allows moisture to dissipate in warm temperature camping).
I would recommend this bag hands down because overall it is generally very comfortable, and performs well in cold temperates.
