An unbeatable all-around bag, our long REI Downtime sleeping bag offers top-line features at a rock bottom price!
- Its 600-fill-power goose down insulation is distributed efficiently to maximize warmth: 60% on top and 40% on the bottom
- Contoured hood and roomy foot section provide a nonrestrictive fit, so you stay warm and comfortable
- Ground-level side seams and full-length insulated draft tube prevent heat loss through seams and the anti-snag zipper
- Full draft collar keeps the cold from penetrating through the top of the sleeping bag
- Differentiated drawcords (1 round, 1 flat) let you adjust hood and neck easily in the dark
- Pad loops provide attachment points to keep your sleeping bag and pad together to avoid rolling off onto the cold ground (straps sold separately)

I have a XLong Downtime because I was not happy with the XLong Polar Pod I bought from REI. I sent the Polar Pod back after using it a dozen or so times, (was in perfect condition since I always use care and a liner bag). [...]. What a grea t bag and benefit. I have used it at altiudes of more than 10K in Colorado in the early winter months, no issue staying warm, and I am a cold sleeper. Love the way it packs small too.

For the price, this bag is awesome! It's lightweight, compresses well, stays lofty, and is really warm. You can unzip at the feet if you get too hot. I bought the men's regular and it's just the right size for a medium-built 5'8" woman. Not too large in the shoulders at all... like other men's bags. Keeps me warm enough that I don't need the women's specific design.

I've used this bag over the past year and haven't had any problems. The down is beginning to wear out and it is no longer +20F, probably more like +25-+30F and it also absorbs some moisture, but for the price it is an excellent bag.

I bought this bag after lots of research. This is a great bag for the price. It's down, so it'll compress wonderfully and is light weight. The weekend that we used it, the temp was in the upper 30's and it kept me perfectly warm. It's a great design. If you're looking for a great bag, go with this down one and not a synthetic one.
