Comments about SIGG Active Top Water Bottle - 20 oz.:
Much has been said about Sigg bottles' lack of taste coloration compared to plastic bottles. I am going to address the issue of deciding between the loop top vs. the "active" top. At first, the loop top seems to be the safe bet based on most of the reviews here and elsewhere. However, having just acquired a bottle with the active top, I think that's the way to go. The flow out of the nozzle could be better, especially since you can't squeeze a Sigg bottle to increase flow as you could with, say, a typical non-lexan plastic water bottle. But if you press on the release valve with your thumb while sucking the water out, it works reasonably well. True, there were times when I unscrewed the active top to guzzle down more water. That leads to my point: an active top is more flexible. Unscrew the top as you would with a hoop top if necessary, or drink from the bottle with the active top in place using only one hand. The latter maneuver comes in handy while driving or cycling -- can't do that with the loop top.

Comments about SIGG Active Top Water Bottle - 20 oz.:
I own the 0.6L SIGG aluminum bottle with the standard twist-off cap (not the active top) in the SUMMER BIRD model. I love the shape of this bottle with its clean, seamless lines and well-built structure. So far I've been able to drink water and juices the way they should taste: no residual 'metal' or 'plastic' flavor. The 144 designs offered from SIGG make it easy to match personality, and I happened to find my perfect design [...]. My bottle easily fits into my everyday bags and has been great for constant use. One 'green' aspect is that it can be recycled at an aluminum recycling facility when the user has tired of it.The SIGG bottle is heavier than a plastic bottle, so I probably wouldn't use it to backpack on extended trips. Also, it does not retain temperature: cold fluids are soon room-temperature, and hot fluids make the metal bottle initially difficult to handle. To mitigate this problem, SIGG offers insulated products which I have not yet purchased. The capability to interchange a variety of SIGG caps makes it very functional as I find that the standard top can be tedious to twist off every time I need a drink (compared to a plastic Nalgene bottle's).Overall, I have a feeling this stylish bottle will be with me for a very long time.

Comments about SIGG Active Top Water Bottle - 20 oz.:
I made the leap to investing in plastic free bottles for my family awhile ago.
I bought a Klean as well at a Spring time Sigg with the active top. My active top never stayed in the full open position, so I could never "gulp" only "sip" which was frustrating when I was working out. After a few uses, the top simply stopped letting any water through.
So, needless to say, I returned it. I think Sigg must be a good company, there are a lot of great reviews...maybe I just had a dud? Nevertheless, I love my Klean with the sport top, I will probably buy another so I'll always have a clean Klean on hand... ;)

Comments about SIGG Active Top Water Bottle - 20 oz.:
I bought this bottle as an alternative to disposable plastic bottles. I like the active top, for the most part. The nozzle is a little weird; in order to gulp, I find that I have to twist the top to just the right position and then use my teeth to push it back in order to get a full gulp. In addition, after I'd had the bottle for a couple of weeks, it fell from a short height while closed and the lid shattered. It's a beautiful bottle, but maybe not quite as practical as advertised.

Comments about SIGG Active Top Water Bottle - 20 oz.:
The bottle itself is great, I own many but the sports tops on this one is horrible. You have to hold the top down to make the water come out. Great for leaking issues, but horrible in a gym setting. The water flow is really weak
