Comments about Komperdell Guide Staff with Camera Mount - '06 Closeout:
Very stable on difficult trails, lightened load on knees, and kept me from a couple stumbles on downhill portions. Compacts down nicely to fit inside my backpack when checked in on an airplane and easy to strap to the outside when on the road. Grip is non-hand specific which is good when one arm gets tired but then again, it doesn't fit as well as a molded grip.

I use this every time I go hiking, and it's my personal favorite way of relieving pressure off of your dominant leg.
Plus the Mono-pod does come in handy quite often.
