          What a cool idea, talks to my watch and correlates mileage and heart rate. I’ve ridden a couple of times with my new bike pod, the data is great, when you can get the data that is.The attachment is silly, two zip ties on a smooth front fork. The zip ties they provided were so brittle they snapped on install, I had to buy new ones and no matter how tight I pull them the POD jiggles and swings making consistent reading almost impossible. I’m going to tape it to reinforce but I’m thinking the road bike specific POD might be a better choice, just too bad this on was [$]and the other is [$].

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          This bike pod really adds to the already cool Suunto T3 watch, turning it into a speedometer and odometer. It's gotten some tough reviews on a few sites about being finicky. I agree, it is quite sensitive and needs to be tweaked to get it close enough to the spokes to sense the magnet. But this is not that hard. I do recommend getting the tie down straps snug enough that the sensor doesn't move. Put extra effort into this and use some pliers (probably why they give you extra straps). Mine hasn't budged in two months, even with hitting quite a few bumps, rocks, and curbs. It works great each time I get on the bike with no adjustments needed. I really have enjoyed it (especially since the bike data is sent to the PC along with HR data). Also love seeing a record of my distances, top speed, and average speed included with the HR data from my workouts all on the watch itself.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

              I was attempting to put this on my aero fork on my road bike and it just doesn't attatch ver well at all. The odd way that they have it set up doesn't leave much surface area to connect to the fork therfore it tends to move around and won't stay in the correct position for monitoring.

              Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
