I love this bag, Im a photographer and always have my G-9 a bottle of water my tooth brush a clean tee shirt and a spare pair in it with pleanty of room left for my cheesy poofs. 18 months ago I quit my job as a silent protest to retarded government spending. Now I make no money so I pay no taxes and no support comes from me. Now I strap on my xs bag grab my singlespeed, "foxy Love" and laugh at all those morons in their cars as I wander the country like Cane from Kung Foo but on a sweet steel ride. stop reading this, now go outside and play

My 2nd Timbuk2. I bought the extra small for the bike commute to the gym. It's the perfect size to carry a wallet, ipod, magazine or book, REI XL pack towel,and cell phone with room to spare for a stop at the store for an item or two. Lots of internal pockets to organize all those things. My medium Timbuk2 is 9 years old and still going strong!

This bag can carry a lot of stuff! What I like best, is its velcro closure on the the front flap. I never worry about anything falling out. When I open it, it closes quickly and securely.Be warned,the velcro being so strong makes noise when you open it so you have to do it slowly when you sitting in a quiet movie theater.The cell phone pocket makes your phone easily accessible, and there are lots of extra pockets to use.

I love the Timbuk2 bags. This is my all purpose purse. I've had one for 2 years now and has shown minor wear and tear. But it's to be expected for having for over 2 years! I forsee myself getting another 4 years out of it..that is..if I don't buy another one before then.. just to have :)

I got my Timbuk2 about two years ago and use it for everything. I've taken it all over the country with me and I never feel weird taking it into a restaurant or out on the trail. It also works great as a personal item on an airplane, as it fits easily under the seat. I can even fit my SLR camera in there with space left over, and the bag is structured just enough that I feel the camera won't get too damaged (assuming I don't drop the bag out a window, naturally).

If you are the sort of traveller who wants to buy a lot of stuff while you're out and about, or who carries a heavier load, I would recommend a slightly bigger messenger bag, or one with two shoulder straps, but if you're more of a minimalist, or just don't want to haul around a big bag, then I recommend this one.

The only con is that I don't care for the strap system. Once you set your preferred length, it stays in place perfectly, but attempting to shorten the strap or make it longer is a lengthy and unnecessarily complicated process. There may be an easier way to do it but I haven't figured it out yet.
