Comments about Osprey Waypoint 60 Travel Pack:
I lived out of this pack for a year while traveling through South America. "Suitcase style" closure and minimal external pockets make it really easy to lock and secure without compromising easy access. The Rectangular body makes it easy to pack a ton in (I recommend Eagle Creek Packing Cubes to help keep things organized on the inside).
Strong chassis, good pads, and adjustability make it great for backcountry trips as well. I've used mine on 5-6 day backcountry trips and I have no complaints. Construction and durability are nothing short of amazing; mine barely looks used.
The included daypack is pretty small, good for short out-and-backs but not much else. Fortunately the attachment bed is large enough that you can replace it with just about anything you want. I used mine with an REI Traverse 30L daypack.
If you're looking for an excellent pack for extended travel, don't pass this one up.
