Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
I purchased these for a hike through Paria Canyon. Just trying them out around home I found that the design was really poorly thought out. Inside of the shoe there is a plastic mesh. It turns out, if you are barefoot inside of them it catches your toe nails. My toe nails are not long and they were catching enough to be excruciatingly annoying. I had to walk with my toes curled to keep them from catching. I thought this was unreasonable to deal with and returned them.

Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
this is an awesome shoe for water use, but after the spider rubber soles where wet they didn't grip the wet rocks well at all.

Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
I have owned these for just over a year now and they still look and work great. They are very lightweight and the upper material is durable and dries quickly. The sole also drains well, yet the EVA midsole and sturdy outsole make it easy to step on rocks and debris at the bottom of the lake. It actually feels like a running shoe and I ended up running and biking with it most of the time. The bungee lace system makes for easy on/off, and the reflective details are a nice extra touch. The only cons I can think of are the moderately high price and the teva logos everywhere, otherwise this shoe lives up to every expectation.

Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
Purchased these before my recent trip to Galapagos. I love them in many ways: they dry fast, they're tight around my foot, they're comfortable.
However, in comparing Teva's new Spyder sole technology with Vibram soles, the tevas leave alot to be desired. The soles in the sandals do not grip wet surfaces well. It proved inconvenient during my trip to Galapagos, as they are covered in...you guessed it, wet rocks!
Buyer beware if you're looking to use these shoes for a truly amphibious experience, you might fall back into the water after touching land.

Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
I returned these shoes because the rubber outsole isn't special at all, and there is a plastic piece in the middle of the sole that will slip right off a rock. If you're traversing a river, that's not something to mess with. Check out the stealth rubber soles on Chaco sandals. Incredible.

Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
I owned a pair of Teva sandals that lasted 5 years. They stunk (odor-wise) but lasted. These stink; I replaced the insole in August because I could not get the smell which was repulsive out of them. Now, the soles have worn through in less than six months.
The soles cannot be replaced. To say I am disappointed in the quality of these sandals is a major understatement.

This product needed more work especially the middle insoles because it does not have enough cushion.

Comments about Teva Sunkosi Sandals - Men's:
Picked these up for kayaking and mild hiking, first trips i had some of the worst blisters I ever had, the insole was wet the next day, and I could not get the draw string tight enough to keep out rocks... They need some work.
