I bought this bag based on good review by backpacker.com and used it for my first camping trip. It kept me toasty throughout 35-45 degree nights, and the hood kept my 'pillow' in place. I wish it had a long zipper on at least one side to make it easier to get in and out, and to pop a toe out when my feet get too warm. And if you have to sleep on an angle, be prepared to slide right down the pad since the back is extremely slippery. Otherwise, I'd say this is WONDERFUL!
