    I've used this shirt on numerous day hikes in hot and sunny conditions along the Front Range and high country of Colorado. It's done a good job at 'moisture wicking' and being breathable. I've not felt overheated or been soaked in sweat despite being out for 4 or more hours. It hasn't pilled like other shirts of this sort have done for me after washing it.

    The collar area started to shot fine thin fraying and pilling after the first wash. I'd worn the shirt ONCE and it hadn't been used in a tough situation at all. I was a bit disappointed with this fact.

      This shirt is soft, comfortable, lightweight, dries quickly, and not as 'shiny' as other tech shirts. But, the material has pilled a lot, esp on the back after wearing a pack. Not quite as comfy after that but still a good shirt.

        Have only had the shirts a short time, so durability isn't something I can address: Fit is great; material is softer then some other 'tech' shirts; does retain a bit of odor but for most purposes who cares; breathes well and dries quickly. If they had more now in different colors I'd pick up more.

        I picked this up on impulse right before my first backpacking trip of the summer, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was on a multi-day, mosquito-infested trek through the high sierra. It does tend to pick up odors quickly (none of my other shirts do this; I don't think its me), but a quick washing in a stream fixes that. Aside from that little inconvenience, its an excellent shirt!
