Comments about Yosemite National Park: A Complete Hiker's Guide - 5th Edition:

Jeffrey Schaffer is the "dean" of Yosemite authors. This is not just an excellent resource for hiking in Yosemite. It is full of very well written information on the history and natural history of the park. I own at least a dozen Wilderness Press books and they are all thorough and well written. Their Sierra Nevada maps depict the trails precisely and do not generalize them as do some maps.
