Comments about The North Face Tigger +20 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
I have the older (blue/yellow) version of this and I still LOVE IT!
I didn't want to invest in a regular adult sleeping bag - pay full price for 6 more inches of "wasted" sleeping bag space...
I've taken it mostly on campground trips and a few backpacking trips (sleeping pad helps greatly if you get cold easily).
My feet do touch the end of the sleeping bag but there's still room at the bottom to stuff extra socks, shirts, etc. (for extra warmth/padding).
I'd highly recommend this sleeping bag for us vertically challenged adults! :)

Comments about The North Face Tigger +20 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
We purchased this bag for our 6 y.o. granddaughter's first camping experience. Combined with the R.E.I. self-inflatable women's sleeping pad, she said it was "more comfy than my own bed at home." She did not get cold, nor too hot. She is a tosser and turner though, so she looks like a little larva/grub in her mummy sack when she rolls around during the night(and off the sleeping pad). The zipper pull glows in the dark, and also zips easily. This demonstrates this bag is no afterthought by a maker of adult bags...it is designed with kids in mind. The selling point for us was that it was also the lightest weight of its class (kids' +20), and thus fit for backpacking adventures.

This bag is awesome. Our eleven year old loves this thing. So much that she likes to hike just to sleep in it and has only mentioned cold feet once at 15 degrees on a wet night. Warm, light, durable, very water resistant, economical, zippers that are bomb proof, stuff sack and a large mesh storage sack. We can't find anything we don't like about this bag, and we will be buying another one for our four year old. Well done.

I have used these for my son and daugher backpacking in cold soaking Olympic National Park conditions, and 26 degree car camping outings.
I use in conjuction with a name brand ultra light 3/4 self inflatible mattress. Kids were warm and toasty, attesting to adequate insulation on the underside of the bag. Kind of cute when they disappear down into the bag until morning.
The combination is light enough for them to carry for 4 miles at age 8 in their backpacks.
Would be nice if came with a compression sack. I would be willing to pay more for a perfectly sized waterproof compression sack.

We bought this for our two-year-old so we could take him backpacking with us. He absolutely loves it. It works great, even if he's still a little small. It is small and light enough to add to my pack. However, the stuff sack doesn't have compressions straps, so it might be advantageous to purchase a better compression sack if you need the space.

My 6 year old son used this bag for the first time last weekend in Yosemite. It got down to 28 degrees at night. When he woke in the morning, the first thing he said was, "Dad I was warm last night!"
Haven't taken it backpacking yet, but when we do, I'll rewrite a review. But for now I'm giving the Tigger 4 Stars.

We selected this after comparing 6 other bags - this is the clear winner. Lightweight! Synthetic fill eliminates worries of 'accidents' with young kids. Surprisingly light and compact for synthetic fill. Great bag - we bought three for our kids.

Comments about The North Face Tigger +20 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
This is THE best cold weather bag that I've found for my 12 yr. old daughter. She is a cold sleeper, and this bag keeps her snug as a bug in a rug. Maybe cold feet once in a blue moon, but nothing another pair of wool socks doesn't fix.
The bag is basically waterproof too. It packs down small and is lightweight enough that she carries it herself backpacking.(she's small for her age)

Wonderful bag for smaller children (12 and under). Tough exterior, tough zipper system and washable! Lightweight and warm enough to backpack. It really is the perfect bag for camping and backpacking with smaller ones.
