Comments about The North Face Snowshoe 0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
Bag is warm, but cool enough for East Bay camping. It is a little snug. While we don't want a lot of free space, I'm not that big, and turning around was still a little tight.

Comments about The North Face Snowshoe 0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
Just purchased our 3rd Snowshoe. Youngest son ready for winter backpacking and after great results with other 2, only logical choice. Very warm in cold weather. I think it's underrated for the 0 degree, works well in colder temps too.

Comments about The North Face Snowshoe 0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
Great bag for the cost. I've used this bag moutaineering in Alaska and was very impressed. I sleep very cold and this bag kept me decently warm on nights well bellow freezing and in snow caves. Does very well with moisture also. Drys out very nicely. A bit heavier than I would like, but you cant always have down. Nice and roomy for an average build. Compresses down fairly well also.

Comments about The North Face Snowshoe 0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I got this bag this fall because I was expecting to do some cold-weather camping on the Superior Hiking Trail. This bag certainly kept me warm enough and more. With temperatures dipping down into the 30s (F) at night (and has high as the 50s, too) I often woke up too warm; this was my fault as I had completely zipped it up and snugged myself up in it. When I opened it up a bit I was plenty comfortable even in warmer conditions. It is a bit bulky when stuffed, but not especially or unreasonably so; it is perfectly acceptable for a 0* bag, just a bit large for my needs at the time--though better than freezing.

I used this bag on the glaciers in B.C. and it kept me warm in all weather conditions known to the area surrounding Whistler. With a sleeping pad the Snoe Shoe is perfect for snow camping.

TOOK THIS BAG TO N/W ALASKA (ARCTIC CIRCLE) JUNE 2007. AVERAGE NIGHTIME TEMPS WAS MID TO HIGH 30'S.
BAG WAS ACTUALLY TOO WARM. BEING 5'7", #150 I FELT QUITE SNUG.
